Prayer is not a preparation for the battle; it is the battle!

Harmony Prayer Ministries
At Harmony, the ministry of prayer occurs routinely. You may not be aware that we have a variety of prayer ministries at Harmony. They are:

Prayer Posts: Our front office is in charge of sending out our online prayer posts/emails.  Requests are received in the tithes and offering boxes, phone calls, emails or in person. If you only want the Pastors, Elders and Staff to know about your request you should communicate that when you submit your request. You are invited to join this group on The Vine.

Prayer Room: Scott & Cyndie Belke lead this ministry. They meet in the prayer room and pray over requests that have been submitted in the tithes and offering boxes on Sunday Morning. The Prayer Room is open Monday at 7:00 pm, Wednesday at 12:00 pm and Saturday at 8:00 am.  You are invited attend whenever you can.

Our weekly meetings are located across from the Fellowship Hall at these times:

  • Monday at 7 pm
  • Wednesday at noon
  • Saturday at 8 am
  • Sunday at 8:30 am

The purpose of the Prayer Room is always to meet and share our hearts with God and one another. We seek the direction of the Spirit in each meeting, and our focus changes according to His leading and the seasons that Harmony and the Church in general are currently experiencing. It might be easier to simply say that we pray for everyone as the Spirit leads!

No talent, skill or gifting is required. All one needs is a desire to invest time with the Lord. The door is open to all. You do not need to commit to a specific time. You may come and go as you desire. Some faithfully come and are present before the Lord but seldom pray out loud. Others have more experience in intercession and feel comfortable participating in vocal prayers. All are welcome.

Our requirements would be that you desire to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and the appointed leadership rather than our own agenda, humility in our interaction with others, a commitment to biblical truth, and confidentiality.

Our prayer meetings are led by Scott and Cyndie Belke. They can be reached at

Prayer Team: Pastor John Brown has chosen specific individuals for this team and has trained them. These individuals are the ones who come forward on Sunday morning when Pastor John calls for the prayer team to come and pray.
