Visitation Ministry
We are here to comfort, encourage, and show support to anyone who is hospitalized, in a nursing home, or in some other way isolated. Whether you need prayer or just a friendly visit, please let us know so that we can be there for you.
HOSPITAL VISITS:
If you or someone you know is in the hospital, please call the church office 816-587-8898 to schedule a visit.
NURSING HOMES:
If you or someone you know is in a nursing home or rehab center, please call the church office 816-587-8898 to schedule a visit.
Jean Harris also oversees a team that offers routine activities (caroling, crafts, etc.) at Woodbine Nursing Home.
RESPITE CARE:
If you are a full-time caregiver and need a break to shop, worship, or run errands, we will try to find someone to assist you. Please call Vicki Cooper directly with these requests: 816-792-1029.
WHO ARE WE?
We are Harmony members with a heart to serve through Visitation. Many of us have gone through the MAP class and been referred through the Equipping Ministry. We meet quarterly for updates and training. Vicki Cooper is our Team Leader. You can reach Vicki at 792-1029 or

 We also have a very unique team member—Snowflake. If you like dogs, Snowflake will be happy to come visit you, along with her owner, Sandi Peterson. Sandi will also help provide care for your pet(s) if you are unable.
